Figures show how many meals were eaten in Leamington and Warwick during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme - and how much money people saved
The Eat Out to Help Out scheme has been hailed a massive success across Leamington and Warwick after discounts topping £703,000 were handed out.
Thousands of people turned out to take advantage of the Government initiative throughout August as the hospitality industry fights back amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

Hide AdA stunning 119,000 cut-price meals were eaten in the parliamentary constituency.
In total, 129 business registered for the scheme.
In the neighbouring Kenilworth and Southam constituency, discounts topping £638,000 were handed out - and 102,000 cut-price meals were eaten.
Restaurants, pubs and cafes said the scheme was a huge benefit and many have continued their own discount offers.
