Big changes for bus routes across Rugby borough
The Advertiser previously obtained a document outlining the proposed changes, but now the bus operator has officially announced what alterations will be made.
Some of the key changes include the removal of service 1 and its replacement by hourly services 3 and 3A.

Hide AdLong Lawford will no longer be served by 3, but the new 86 route will go through Long Lawford “up to every half hour”.
Service 4 will no longer service the Tesco stop at Elliott’s Field, instead serving the new stops on Leicester Road.
Journeys from the town centre to Clifton and North Kilworth have been withdrawn – but Stagecoach said Warwickshire County Council is seeking a replacement.
The Hillside and Rokeby estates will be left without bus services.

All journeys on service 64 have been withdrawn – except for the 6.04am Monday to Saturday journey from Rugby to Leamington, which will now run via Draycote Water, Stockton, Long Itchington and Southam.

Stagecoach said Northamptonshire County Council are “reviewing their options” on the future of the service.
