Breakthrough in breast cancer care at Warwick
Patients have been benefitting from the use of a digital mammography, ultrasound rooms and dedicated fitting and treatment rooms for a year - and the suite was given greater recognition when it was declared officially open by Jeremy Wright MP last Friday.
Patients, fundraisers, staff and governors of South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the hospital - were invited to the event, which also marked the launch of the trust’s ‘breakthrough service pledge’, which sees it working with Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity on reviewing services and setting improvement goals.
