Come on Rugby... let's carry on winning
This year’s Rugby in Bloom contest is under way and it supports the borough’s entry for the Britain in Bloom 2016 finals.
Rugby secured a place in the finals after striking double gold at the 2015 Heart of England in Bloom Awards – winning the small city category for an eighth year in a row and crowned overall winner.

Hide AdRugby in Bloom encourages residents, schools and businesses to make the borough blossom over the summer .
This year it promotes the ‘Enjoy Rugby’ theme and celebrates the Queen’s 90th birthday and the council’s edible borders project.
Categories for residents include best small garden, organic vegetable plot, allotment and first-time entrant.
Businesses categories include best shop, pub, hotel, garden centre, community building and place of worship.
Schools, nurseries and playgroups can also enter.

All entries must be received by Monday, July 4.
The council’s portfolio holder for sustainable environment, Cllr Lisa Parker, said: “With our place in the finals of Britain in Bloom, I’d encourage everyone to play a part in making the borough look blooming marvellous when the judges visit in August.”
The Britain in Bloom Awards take place at Warwickshire’s Edgbaston Cricket Ground in October.
