A suspected burglar who rammed a police car with a stolen vehicle was tracked and caught thanks to a police dog.
The incident started early early this morning, Saturday August 29, after officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residential property in Claverdon.

Hide AdOfficers from the Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) for Warwickshire Police, South Warwickshire Response teams, and police dog units attended the scene.
The offenders had made off in a stolen Audi SQ5 and tried to ram a police vehicle off the road.
The offenders failed and made off from the stolen vehicle.
Police dog Buzz tracked them from the vehicle and quickly captured one of the offenders who was arrested for burglary.
The suspect arrested is in his late teens, and was arrested near Claverdon after the pursuit with police.

Hide AdPD Buzz continued tracking and found items of property discarded in fields.
The Audi SQ5 was stolen last week from Shipston on Stour in another burglary and has been recovered for forensic examination.
