Three arrested for attack in Rugby which saw man in his seventies rushed to hospital with serious injuries

An elderly man was rushed to hospital yesterday, Sunday July 5, following an attack which has so far seen three people arrested.
Police were called shortly before 2.40pm to a report of an assault inside a property on Stephen Street.

A 40-year-old woman, a 43-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man have all been arrested on suspicion of assault Grievous Bodily Harm.
They are presently in police custody.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Mark Robertson from Warwickshire Police, said: “A number of enquiries are ongoing, and this is currently being treated as an isolated incident."
