Fly tippers who dumped household waste between Leamington and Southam will donate £1,000 donation to wildlife charity instead of going to court.
In an unusual move, police asked the public to recommend a charity - and the chosen good cause is Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Hide AdAfter launching an investigation and tracing the offenders, Southam Police said two people have admitted fly tipping at Ufton Fields and Bascote Heath.
PC Matt Simms said: "We asked people for recommendations of local wildlife charities should these offenders want to make a donation having seen the error of their ways.
"These fly tippers will be dealt with out of court and will be making a £1,000 donation to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust who are responsible for the upkeep of a number of reserves in our area including Ufton Fields."
