Fire crews rescue residents trapped in Warwick property
and live on Freeview channel 276
Firefighters were called to a property in Hampton Road at around 10.40am.
Police and ambulance were also sent to the scene.
A spokesperson from Warwickshire Fire an Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 10.39am this morning to an incident in Hampton Road in Warwick.

Hide Ad"This was a two-storey domestic premise, approx eight by eight metres, fire located in ground floor bathroom. Smoke was affecting 100 per cent of the property.
"We had three appliances in attendance (two from Leamington, one from Kenilworth).
"Crews found disabled occupants were in the property but unable to leave.
"Crews instructed residents to ventilate the property while the source of smoke was investigated.

Hide Ad"Smoke was found to be coming from an electric toilet. Crews were at the scene for just short of 30 minutes. Police were informed (LOG 118) and ambulance service attended (Log 1172).
The crew from Kenilworth Fire Station praised the residents for getting the bathroom door shut.
On their Facebook page they said: "As you can see from the photos the occupants managed to get the door to the room closed, limiting the smoke damage to the rest of the property.
"This shows the importance of closing all doors and windows in your house before going to bed and making sure you check your smoke alarm weekly."
