Hundreds enjoy Sunny Dhillon Memorial Day
Hundreds of people enjoyed a wide variety of events at the annual Sunny Dhillion Memorial Day last Saturday.
As well as a fun run and football match, there were also karate demonstrations, Morris dancing and a balloon release. Among the crowds at Radford Semele were Mickey Mouse, Peppa Pig...and the Courier and Weekly News, of course!
Organisers said they raised more than £2,000, which will go towards a play area in the village and a trip for the Scout group. The Sunny Dhillon Memorial Fund was set up in memory of Sunny who died suddenly in February 2008. For more information on the fun run see week’s paper.
