Injured teenager in Whitnash rescued by air ambulance
The 13-year-old boy was riding a BMX bike downhill at speed when he fell and was injured in his groin and pelvis on Friday morning (November 1),
An ambulance arrived first, but the air ambulance was called out due to the clinical nature of the incident.

Hide AdThe crew took off from their base in Baginton at 11:48am and landed at the scene of the incident six minutes later. They landed in the car park next to where the boy had fallen.
Doctors and paramedics gave the him pain relief and then flew him to the University Hospital in Coventry.
The air ambulance routinely carries senior doctors and consultants on board its helicopter so they can provide advanced treatments such as anaesthesia, which normally must be carried out at hospital.
