Leamington pensioner assaulted by handbag thief
The pensioner was about to get into a car at around 9.45pm when she was approached by a man who forced his way between her and her vehicle.
He then grabbed her handbag and assaulted her, knocking her to the ground before making off with her bag and its contents.

Hide AdPolice said the woman sustained “serious facial injuries” and was badly shaken by the ordeal.
The man is described as white, fairly tall, with a solid build and short darkish hair, aged between 20 and 30-years-old.
He was wearing smart casual clothing and walked off toward the Parade before turning right into Mill Street following the assault.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on September 19.
