Leamington video games festival wins national award
Backspace - which took place as part of Heritage Matters’ Leamington Looks Back history festival this summer - won the Gold Award for best event at the tenth annual Fresh Awards in Manchester, which are designed to recognise and reward creativity, effectiveness and innovation in the creative, digital and media arenas in the UK and Ireland.
Supported by a grant from Warwick District Council’s Operation Footfall, the event was organised by Leamington marketing experts Craig Spivey of Vital Marketing and Natalie Griffin of Press Space PR.
