Motorcyclist ‘lucky to be alive’ following crash near Warwick
The incident occurred between junctions 16 and 15 on the southbound carriageway at around 2.40pm.
The paramendic gave the rider, believed to be 32 years old, emergency treatment at the scene. The paramedics colleagues soon joined him and continued with treatment.

Hide AdThe man suffered back and hand injuries and was taken to the University Hospital in Coventry for further treatment.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Considering where the man had fallen off his machine, he man was extremely fortunate not to have suffered more serious or even fatal injuries. Thankfully the motorcyclist was wearing full safety clothing which undoubtedly helped minimise his injuries.”
