Firefighters from Kenilworth Station tackled a fire in which a car had been set alight and abandoned at a skate park in the town at around midnight last night (Friday June 19).

They were called to Castle Farm skate park off Fishponds Road.

On arrival they found a car which had been set on fire and dumped.

One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Warwickshire Police were in attendance and arranged for the car to be recovered.
