Cubbington care home resident who is Warwickshire's oldest man receives Coronavirus vaccination

John Farringdon was one of the first to be vaccinated at Barchester’s Cubbington Mill care home.
He said: “I feel proud to have the vaccine and I hope that this is the next step towards life getting back to normal for us all.”

Hide AdThe home's Resident Ambassador, Gerald Waterfield, also happily received his vaccination with a smile on his face and is very supportive of everyone having the vaccine.
The home's general manager, Dimpho Kavanagh, said: “Last year was a year like no other and the vaccine feels like the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Our teams have been magnificent in how they have risen to every challenge during this pandemic and we are proud to play our part in this next phase to ensure the most vulnerable are protected.”
The team has also started receiving their vaccinations.
Fritzie Salazar, a nurse at Cubbington Mill, said: “I am so pleased to be given the vaccine.
