New information boards installed for historic and picturesque walk around Southam
The Holy Well Walk which starts at the Wood Street car park in the town, takes walkers to the Holy Well and then on to the site of the original water mill at Stoneythorpe across the fields beside the Dalas Burston Polo Club grounds and then back across the river and over the hills to the town giving some wonderful views of the Stowe Valley.
The original information boards for the walk were installed about 15 years ago and had deteriorated over time.

Hide AdLen Gale, chairman of the Southam Civic Ideas Forum, said: "There are three information boards:- this one in Wood Street, the second in the Wattons Lane car park near the ATC hut at the beginning of the off road walk and the one at the actual Holy Well itself, which had been vandalised.
"The new information panels have been updated where necessary with kind assistance of the Ian Greenall of Stratford District Council and reprinted directly onto aluminium, encased in a new frame made from recycled oak posts from the old palisade around the Holy Well and will be protected by a heavy grade polycarbonate clear sheet.
"We hope that they will last for many years.
"The frames were made by Mike Wood, a renowned joiner from Napton and installed by Southam town councillor Michael Ray."
