Although the UK is in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic some of the volunteers from the group are still continuing to work and cleared more than 700 used needles in the last week.
Because they are continuing to work the group is now appealing for help in supplying PPE for the volunteers.
A spokesperson from Leam Trash Friends said: "Since the lockdown was envisaged we have monitored the situation closely and unfortunately our services are still required during this lockdown.

"We have recovered the last week alone some 700 plus used needles from across Leamington with further reports coming in which we are attending to urgently.
"We have also continued our works to secure areas to prevent further discarded needles with two areas cleared of disgards and secured last week as well as some street litter collections.
"If you are able to assist us with our PPE needs please reach out to us via our Facebook page www.facebook.com/leamtrashfriends or email [email protected]
