The decision to refuse 200 homes in Whitnash will now be reviewed at a public inquiry.
An appeal has been granted against the decision made by the planning committee at Warwick District Council at the beginning of February.

Hide AdWe reported the original decision live from the council meeting. After a debate lasting just over two-and-a-half hours, the plans to build 200 homes on land south of Chesterton Gardens were rejected by just a single vote.

The proposal was met with much opposition from local residents and councillors and it was refused on the grounds of extra traffic, poor access and the lack of amenities.
Developers AC Lloyd said it had addressed all these issues with planners.
No date has been set yet for the public inquiry.
