Former allotment land earmarked for housing in Lutterworth is to be sold off
Land owned by Harborough council in Lutterworth – and earmarked for over 70 new homes - is to be sold off.
The authority’s Cabinet has agreed that the former allotment site at De Verdon Road, Lutterworth, should be put up for sale.

Hide AdHarborough council said it is “refocusing its priorities in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic” and won’t now plough ahead with the housing blueprint.
Councillors said the site would be sold on the open market once a decision on planning consent for the development is made.
The Cabinet also said they will carry out archaeology works on the land if planning consent is granted.
