Dodd departure ill-timed admits Leamington boss
Dodd found it difficult to hold down a starting berth this term, with 13 of his 30 appearances coming from the bench.
And his frustrations appear to have got the better of him, with the Wolverhampton-born winger taking to Facebook to announce the end of his three-year association with Leamington.

“We’ve got a difference of opinion,” said Holleran. “He feels he should be starting week-in, week-out.
“But to do the role he does, you need to chip in with assists and goals and Lee Chilton has done that well.
“It is a disappointing way to finish.
“Matty was a really good signing. He was tremendous the season we came up.

“But I can’t deny I’m bitterly disappointed. I’d have liked him to see out the season with us and then make a decision.”
Meanwhile, Holleran says little can be read into Solihull Moors’ heavy home defeat to North Ferriby United on Tuesday night ahead of tomorrow’s derby at Damson Park.
Wembley-bound Ferriby ran out 4-2 winners, but Holleran said the scoreline flattered the visitors.
“It wasn’t a 4-2 game.

“The system Solihull employed played into North Ferriby’s counter-attacking hands.
“It happens. Solihull haven’t been on a good run but they have quality all over the pitch.
“Form goes out of the window when Leamington and Solihull play each other.”
