Kay sees positives in Hibs’ cup exit
Travelling with a squad of 12, Hibs had to throw on their only substitute in the first half, with a further injury forcing them to play the majority of the second period with ten men.
Hibs were only trailing 1-0 at the time, but Brinklow made the extra man tell, adding a further four goals during the second half.

“By all accounts the first half was nip and tuck.
“Unfortunately we lost two players to injury and Brinklow are a good side, but it could be a blessing really with the backlog of fixtures we have.
“The next six games are massive, starting with Clements.
“It’s an exciting period of games coming up that will define our season.”
