Racing Club subs sink Stretton
AET: 3-3 after 90 minutes
RACING Club manager Lee Knight was baled out by his bench on Saturday as his side were pushed all their way by their lower-division hosts in the quarter-final of the Les James Challenge Cup.
Tyron Smith, Reece Lynch and Jake Crowther were all introduced after the break, with Smith going on to score two stunning goals and Lynch also on the mark.

Hide AdYoungster Crowther, meanwhile, had a hand in the extra-time winner for Martin Crawford.
Knight said attitudes needed to improve ahead of tomorrow’s semi-final first-leg clash at Knowle but admitted the performances of the three replacements had given him a welcome selection headache.
“We weren’t mentally right,” said Knight. “One or two of the players were complacent and we needed the subs to win us the game.
“It was a 100-mile round trip and the pitch was awful, but it will be similar this week and they just need to roll up their sleeves and get on with it.”
The home leg of Racers’ cup clash will be on Saturday March 31 (3pm).
