Golden duo pass on top tips

Hide AdCarrey took his eager audience through the skills and technique needed to perfect the freestyle action while Payne was on hand to demonstrate the model stroke.
Swimmers then got the chance to put the advice into action with many receiving personal feedback on their own performance.
Payne also gave an inspiring talk about her preparation for this year’s Shanghai World Championships and both swimmers emphasised the importance of training and listening to coaches’ advice.
The training sessions were a resounding success and part of LSASC’s focus on nurturing the whole swimmer.

Hide AdClub chairman and event organiser Suzanne Linton said: ‘There is nothing quite as motivating for young athletes to come face to face with iconic champions like this and listen to their first-hand advice.
“I’m sure that every swimmer from the youngest to the more experienced learned something from the training session.”
